The Building Excitement

With my days of working in 2009 behind me, I can focus on the joyous holidays that are almost upon us. This year, I think, will be especially exciting for us as a family since Isabel is now 18-months-old and is already itching to rip into all of the presents under the Christmas tree. This is also my first year that I truly get to play the fun (or not so fun) Christmas parent role. I'm honestly looking forward to putting together Isabel's bigger toys then concealing them for her to discover Christmas morning. Last night Shayla put away some of the toys that Isabel doesn't really play with anymore and/or has outgrown to make room for the ridiculous amount of toys that she will receive for Christmas. Christmas Eve will consist of Christmas movies and music as well as house cleaning and then toy building once Isabel goes to bed. Here's looking ahead to yet another wonderful Christmas!
